Objective: The aim of our team is to create a high scale Bio specimen bank at the Faculty of Medicine Ain Shams Research Institute. This Biobanking will involve the process of collecting, processing, storing, and distribution of biological specimens. It also involves the policies and procedures needed to apply this project and guarantee its sustainability and ethical considerations. we would like to have advances in personalized medicine and translation research by developing evidence-based practices for collecting bio-specimens and data that can be shared, processed and analyzed.
