Objective: Biobank Graz is a central research infrastructure integrated at the Medical University of Graz responsible for collecting, processing, storing and delivering high quality biological samples and associated data. The overall collection includes, among others, formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues, cryopreserved tissues and biological fluids. The facility is ISO 9001:2015 certified and a part of its biological fluids collection meets CEN/TS requirements. All samples and data are anonymized and processed according to standard operation procedures. Biobank Graz provides managerial support (e.g. project implementation) as well as technical support (e.g. preparation of derivatives) to academic and industrial research.
