Objective: The Biobank for skin research is established with approval by UBC Clinical Ethics Board to support research projects on the discovery of biomarkers and pathogenesis of skin conditions and diseases. The specimens collected include skin biopsies, blood samples, and saliva samples from volunteers with normal healthy skin, and individuals with various skin conditions and diseases such as skin cancers, skin inflammation, pigmentation, scar etc.
