Objective: The purpose of the bank is to collect high quality tissue and fluid samples from patients with a wide range of cancers, with a special emphasis on brain tumours, sarcomas, and pediatric tumours. Our collection includes paraffin embedded tissue, fresh frozen tissue, blood fractions (buffy coat, serum, plasma, red cells), urine, bone marrow and cerebral spinal fluid as appropriate. Live cryoprotected materials and some cell cultures are established.
