Objective: The Saint John Regional Hospital Tumour Bank (SJRHTB) is an initiative to collect and store specimens and clinical information for use in future research. Researchers can request to access these de-identified and coded specimens and clinical information to facilitate research and potentially lead to better testing and/or treatments for cancer. Researchers must have a Research Ethics Board (REB) approved study protocol and complete the Saint John Regional Hospital Specimen Retrieval application and Material Transfer Agreement prior to accessing samples from the SJRHTB and will only receive de-identified information and samples.
