Cancer Predisposition Genetics Biobank, Canada
Objective: The Cancer Predisposition Genetics Biobank's purpose is the conservation of biological material and associated clinical and genetic data collected from patients with cancer, their family members as well as from control participants as required, in order to allow future research on cancer predisposition genetics. The study of predisposition factors may lead to the discovery of novel cancer predisposition genes or biomarkers that will help develop a better understanding of these diseases and better diagnostic tests.
