Objective: The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Hematologic Malignancy Tissue Bank has been collecting bone marrow and peripheral blood from patients with a variety of hematologic malignancies at different time points during the course of their disease. The tissue bank is been an important source of primary cells from patients for research studies focusing on the cause of leukemia and other hematologic malignancies, and the development of new treatments and diagnostic tests .
