Objective: The Biobank-BCH (BB-BCH) was founded in 2006 with the aim of storing and processing biological material, such as tumor tissue, blood and derivatives, cytological material and other secretions or body fluids, from oncologic patients and healthy people for research proposes. Besides cancer patient’s specimens, the BB-BCH also intends harbors biological material of healthy individuals as control for several studies. Our biobank receives samples from 27 states of whole Brazil.
