Objective: CMV is a repository of living human microbiomes available for basic and preclinical research. The goal of the CMV is to collect, preserve and provide access to microbiomes representative of the Canadian diversity in health and diseases, to rare microbiomes that are at risk of disappearing and to time-sensitive microbiomes that can only be collected transitorily due to epidemic and pandemic.
