Objective: The Comprehensive Health Biobank (CHAIN) is located at Nova medical school and is powered by the Comprehensive Health Research Centre (CHRC) research Unit. Its main mission is to provide the most trusted biological samples available (serum, DNA, organoids, bone, cell lines) to support biomedical, clinical, epidemiological, and translational research activities, especially in the areas of health promotion and chronic and high-burden diseases, thus allowing to strengthen research quality and outcome as well as encouraging national and international research collaborations.
