PROCURE Biobank, Canada

Objective: The PROCURE Biobank comprises biosamples and associated data from 2 082 prostate cancer patients enrolled between 2006 and 2012 in four University Hospitals of the Province of Québec. At enrolement, each patient was invited to fill a questionnaire to provide socio demographic as well as lifestyle data. From these, 96% (n= 2 007) underwent radical prostatectomy, biobanking (blood, serum, plasma, buffy coat, urine, normal and cancerous prostate tissues (frozen and FFPE)), longitudinal biosample collection and updated clinical data at periodical follow-up visits.
