Objective: Development of a biobank program at Northern Health. This biobank program (the Northern BC Biobank) will be focused on breast cancer, GI/colon cancer, thyroid cancer and melanoma. The biobank will accrue human biological materials (formalin fixed, paraffin embedded tissue, blood) and health information from consented patients that undergo surgical treatment at Northern Health.
