Objective: The ALLG Biobank and National Blood Cancer Registry collects and stores fully annotated biospecimens from patients with blood cancers for both clinical trials purposes and for ethically approved unspecified future research. Samples collected include blood and tissue samples, and processed into several aliquot types for storage. The specimens are stored at the Hunter Cancer biobank facility in NSW under accredited storage standards, and regular quality control and assurance processes are undertaken to ensure ongoing fitness for purpose of the samples. Over 30,000 aliquots are currently held in the ALLG Biobank which are available for use in future research projects, collected from over 2,400 blood cancer patients. Longitudinal clinical data associated with the samples is also available for use in future research projects, including diagnostic assessment data, genomic and cytogenetic data, and treatment and outcome information.

100 cases Next Generation Sequencing assay to detect all classes of genetic variant in Lung Cancer using a single Diagnostic test.
200 cases Colorectal TMA for QC purposes in support of study of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes in ovarian cancer tissues.
Build 300 cases breast cancer TMA containing primary tumour and matched metastatic LN for various subtypes (luminal, HER2, Triple negative). Start with Triple negatives.
125 cases Breast tumour and metastatic lymph nodes in breast cancer cases with outcomes of metastasis to lung or bone.
100 cases of rare tumours - fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma. FFPE, frozen, BC.
200 cases of FFPE tissue sections from breast, lung adenocarcinoma, and lung squamous cell carcinoma with matching normal tissue (only pathology data requested).
